Steve Jones Nicole Scherzinger will be fair game if I leave The X Factor

Steve Jones has joked that if he gets the boot from The X Factor, he’ll be after a date with his co-star Nicole Scherzinger. Reports surfaced earlier this week that the Welsh lothario was not going to be invited back for a second season of the reality series, although he dismissed the claims completely. “British tabloids, thank you very much for that. Merry Christmas, me,” he told Access Hollywood. “There’s been no conversation with FOX or Fremantle and there won’t be until the New Year. But quite frankly, we’re 100 per cent focused on making the best final possible for our viewers I don’t want to pull focus back on to me. If I’m back, great, if I’m not, I’ll do something else, simple as that.” But he admitted that there will be a few positives if he ever does part ways with the show as it means he can pursue the ’smokin’ hot’ judge. “We’re colleagues and we’re good friends,” he said of Scherzinger. “If I ever leave ‘X Factor,’ Scherzinger’s phone will be smoking hot from me ringing it constantly ’cause if we’re not colleagues oh, she’s fair game, oh yeah!”

British funnyman Russell Brand is planning to have children with his wife Katy Perry. The Arthur actor’s paternal instincts started after he was asked to be godfather to his friend’s one-year-old twins. When asked by US TV chat Ellen DeGeneres if he and Katy, 27, are planning a family, Brand said: “I would like one. I love those little babies in the beginning. They’re so lovely in that bit. Me and Katy are godparents to two twin boys. They’re called Sam and Donovan. “At first they were boring. They were just essentially little fluid factories, generating fluids – no regard for what I was wearing. “Now, they are interesting. They smile and look at me and wonder – I’m just observing them like I’m a scientist.” And the 36-year-old is taking his role as a godfather seriously. Russell, who married Perry in October 2010, added: “I can learn from them. Me and Katy are their godparents, which means we’re responsible for their spiritual growth. Should be interesting.”

Singer-actress Demi Lovato has revealed that she thought she was “going to lose everything” after she hit “rock bottom” and checked into rehab. In a candid interview about her battles with bipolar disorder, depression and bulimia, the 19-year-old Disney star tells Latina Magazine that although she now feels “happy, healthy and driven”, life still gets her down sometimes. She says: “I continue to have moments. I still think sometimes that I’m not strong enough and I need extra help. It’s a daily battle. “Things can still get me down sometimes but nothing keeps me down.” The Sonny With A Chance star admits she feared that her career was over after she punched a back-up dancer last November while on tour with The Jonas Brothers and was admitted to rehab for “emotional and physical issues”. “I thought I was going to lose everything when I checked myself into treatment,” she says. “I didn’t know if I would have a career at all when I came home. “So it really hit me I hadn’t been grateful. In that sense, I can honestly say I’m glad I hit rock bottom when I did. “Most people don’t have those moments. I see a lot of young people in this industry who feel entitled because they haven’t hit rock bottom yet.” She adds: “I feel blessed when I get an opportunity now.”

Jackson’s former doctor, 58, was sentenced today to four years behind bars for the involuntary manslaughter of the music legend in 2009. Katherine, 81, states in the document that immediately after her pop superstar son was pronounced dead, his daughter Paris began crying, saying, “I wanna go with you.” In the report, Katherine says that “not a day goes by” when she does not think of her son. “Katherine Jackson states that Michael Jackson was his children’s world and their world collapsed when he left,” the document further states. The Jackson matriarch is also noted to have told the author of the probation report that she felt a four-year prison sentence would be “insufficient”.

The 15-year-old rapping phenomenon, a 4-to-1 favourite with Las Vegas bookmakers, was shocked to find himself singing for survival against Over 30’s diva Stacy Francis. Astro — real name Brian Bradley – threatened to not perform and was blasted for his attitude by judges L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell. “You acted a little like a quitter and it upset me,” said his own mentor L.A. Reid. “I don’t like your attitude right now, you’ve got your arms folded and its disrespectful to the audience to your fans and your mother,” said Cowell. He was, however, ultimately saved by the judges, as Stacy failed to make it into the final nine.

Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler has been transformed into a chubby-faced Cabbage Patch doll to raise money for charity. The one-of-a-kind doll (pictured) will be sold on eBay alongside Cabbage Patch dolls of actress Katherine Heigl, West Wing star Kristin Chenoweth, The Cosby Show’s Raven-Symone, and US TV presenter Al Roker. Money from the sales will go to Children’s Action Network (CAN), an adoption awareness organisation that helps find secure homes for children in the US foster care system. “Adoption is a cause very close to my heart,” said Heigl, whose dolly double sports a glamorous red ball gown and jewels. “This auction is important to show the world how many adoptable kids are in great need for stable and loving homes,” added the 32-year-old Knocked Up star, who has an adopted older sister and an adopted daughter. The toy company behind the dolls, JAKKS Pacific Inc, worked closely with each of the five celebrities to capture their unique personal style. CAN board director and actor Henry Winkler said: “With so many children in the foster care system, there is tremendous need for support from our community.” All proceeds from the Tyler, Roker, and Raven-Symoné dolls will benefit CAN, while Chenoweth and Heigl are donating 50 per cent of the funds raised from the sales of their dolls to CAN and the other 50 per cent to their own charities Maddie’s Corner, an animal charity founded by Chenoweth and named after her beloved dog, and Heigl’s non-profit pet rescue organisation, the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation. The dolls will be sold on eBay between 7 November and 17 November.

Liam Gallagher ‘wants Oasis movie’

Liam Gallagher has revealed that he wants to bring the story of Oasis to the big screen. The band fell apart in 2009 after Liam’s brother Noel quit following a backstage fight in Paris. And Liam — who now fronts new group Beady Eye — said that he wants to make a movie about the rise and fall of the group. He told The Sun, “Sometimes, when we’ve had a few drinks, we sit about telling stories and talk about putting them in an Oasis film. I’d be up for that. “But I’d start it with Paris. I wouldn’t want it to end on such a bummer. I’d start at the end and work my way backwards. “It’d be a long film but it’d be a film worth watching, believe me. It’d be a funny film and all.”

Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea has sold his newly-built Malibu house for $3.15 million – more than $1.5 million less than it was put on the market for. The two-story contemporary home had been put up for sale in June at $4.79 million. Designed by Marmol Radziner, the home sits on 1.36 acres with a free-form pool and an outdoor fireplace. There are three bedrooms, three bathrooms and an office in more than 3,000 square feet. Flea – real name Michael Balzary – bought the previous house on the site in 2002 for $2.55 million but it burned down in the 2007 Malibu fires. New Song from Justin Bieber – The Christmas Song

Posted by amanda on 28th October 2011 in Uncategorized

Ryan Seacrest recently premiered the Justin Bieber and Usher remake of “The Christmas Song” onhis KIIS FM radio show. The teen pop singer’s soulful version of the holiday classic, made popular by Nat King Cole, will appear on his upcoming debut holiday album called “Under the Mistletoe”, which is set to hit stores on November 1. It’s not the best cover of the song ever but Justin sang it pretty well. It’s actually Usher’s presence in the song that shocked me in a bad way. He’s a great vocalist and I was expecting him to slay on this but he just sounds so safe in the song. I don’t care if he didn’t want to steal Justin’s thunder or something, I know he can do better than what he did in this.

New Video from Charice – Louder

Posted by amanda on 27th October 2011 in Uncategorized

Oprah protégé and former “Glee” star Charice has recently premiered the music video for her latest single called “Louder”. The up-tempo and uplifting pop song serves as the second single from the singer’s new international album called “Infinity”. So far, the album has only been released in Japan but singles like “Louder”, “One Day” and the Bruno Mars-written “Before it Explodes” can be purchased on almost all iTunes stores. I personally like the song but I know Charice is going to flop. As for the video, it was nice to watch but it was pretty awkward seeing her do some choreography.

Rebecca Ferguson Goes Acoustic

Posted by amanda on 26th October 2011 in Uncategorized

UK’s new soul pop act Rebecca Ferguson is proving who should have won last year’s edition of the X Factor with an amazing acoustic rendition of her debut single “Nothing’s Real but Love”. Matt Cardle who? That said, Rebecca’s single is clearly one of the best ones among all X Factor contestants thus far. It’ll be hard for the singer to crack the soulful pop market as long as Adele’s around but it’s performances like these that should win her fans, even if little by little. Rebecca is off to a solid start. Her talent is undeniable and I’m excited for what else she has in store on her forthcoming debut album called “Heaven”, which is out on December 5th.
