Steve Jones has joked that if he gets the boot from The X Factor, he’ll be after a date with his co-star Nicole Scherzinger. Reports surfaced earlier this week that the Welsh lothario was not going to be invited back for a second season of the reality series, although he dismissed the claims completely. “British tabloids, thank you very much for that. Merry Christmas, me,” he told Access Hollywood. “There’s been no conversation with FOX or Fremantle and there won’t be until the New Year. But quite frankly, we’re 100 per cent focused on making the best final possible for our viewers I don’t want to pull focus back on to me. If I’m back, great, if I’m not, I’ll do something else, simple as that.” But he admitted that there will be a few positives if he ever does part ways with the show as it means he can pursue the ‘smokin’ hot’ judge. “We’re colleagues and we’re good friends,” he said of Scherzinger. “If I ever leave ‘X Factor,’ Scherzinger’s phone will be smoking hot from me ringing it constantly ’cause if we’re not colleagues oh, she’s fair game, oh yeah!”

An art gallery in Jackson apparently heard the news and wrote the following tweet: “Word on the street is that Justin Timberlake proposed to Jessica Biel at the Amangani last night.”
Little Mix are set to earn £8 million after beating fellow finalist Marcus Collins to win The X Factor. The massive sum for Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall will be a result of several contracts with major brands including beauty firms and clothing manufacturers. A source told British newspaper The Sun: “Little Mix are just a marketer’s dream. “They are just the full package.” X Factor boss Simon Cowell has got high hopes for the band and believes that they’re the Spice Girls in the making – and they have been receiving offers for weeks before being crowned winners. A source added: “Offers have been coming in for weeks now. “People in marketing spend their lives looking for suitable role models. Little Mix are the full package. The trick will be knowing what to turn down.”
