The winner of the 2007 Shortlist Music Prize has been announced. Cat Power’s album (“The Greatestâ€) is the one chosen this year. The band defeated a high competition including Regina Spektor, Joanna Newsom, Hot Chip, Girl Talk, Tom Waits, Spank Rock, Bonnie Prince Billy, Band of Horses and Beirut.
