What’s a day in LA without shopping? Buzznet recently followed The Veronicas and Jeffree Star to Jet Rag for a little prom dress shopping, and they had a “truly outrageous†time. Check out the first video clip and a message from Lisa and Jes here!

Nobody or nothing can hold country superstar Kenny Chesney down – not even an injury. The singer received the go-ahead from his doctors on Monday to continue his ‘Poets & Pirates’ tour after injuring his foot during a concert in Columbia, South Carolina on Saturday night. I’m actually still in awe that he continued performing after suffering his injury at the beginning of that show. The docs say that Kenny could perform but that he needs to take it easy. Let’s hope that he cuts the whole lift out of his grand entrance. We can’t risk him injuring his other foot now, can we?

Mariah Carey has recently released a remix of her new single ‘Bye Bye’ featuring the iconic rapper Jay-Z. When I first heard the song when she performed it on American Idol, I thought of how incredibly cheesy and overall sucky the song was. But after hearing the remix with Hova on it – man! I can’t believe I actually like it now. Just the remix though, not the original. Maybe it’s because that Jay-Z’s rap cuts out the really cheesy verses of the song and Mariah was mostly just back up on the first half of the song. The less I hear of her, the more I like the song.
You know that you have the hottest tour of this year when you’ve got some of the hottest artists OPENING your show for you. Rihanna beams in a hot pink number during Kanye West’s ‘Glow in the Dark’ tour at HP Pavilion on Saturday in San Jose, California. The Queen of 2007 and still reigning in 2008 Rihanna is just one of three opening acts for Kanye. The other acts are Lupe Fiasco and NERD, Pharrell Williams’ rock ensemble. Kanye’s show is already getting rave reviews on its own. The addition of those three big opening acts are just an added bonus that takes the show all the way to the top.

Prison is a bitch, and if you’re not careful, you can become the prison bitch. The UK media is reporting that rocker Pete Doherty has been moved to a secure cell in jail and is no longer part of the general population. It’s not punishment for doing heroin behind bars though. It seems that Pete’s fellow prisoners want to give him a major beating. Maybe they got pissed that he’s getting special treatment from the guards or maybe they just figured out that his IOU’s for drugs were worthless. Either way, I still hope he turns his life around after this jail stint. I doubt it though. Maybe he does need that beating.

Check out another track off of SafetySuit’s debut album Life Left to Go. The Nashville based band is giving you a preview of their upcoming 5/13 release with another undeniably catchy song. Listen to “Annie†below.
SafetySuit’s current single, “Someone Like You,†is rocking at radio and just secured a spot in the top 40 sinon the Alternative chart!
I knew that there was a gangsta rap but I never knew that there was a gangsta twang. Snoop Dogg showed up to the 2008 Music Awards on Monday night trading in his Crips blue for a full on vampire western gear. It’s highly possible that the rapper was stoned when he chose this outfit. And can someone tell me just what Snoop was doing at a country music awards ceremony? Is he turning in rap for country now? Or maybe he was just trying to get the country folk into his reality show ‘Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood’. Fo’ shizzle my nizzle, watch my show ya’ll!
Madonna has just released an embeddable widget allowing fans to stay up-to-date on the latest news, video, audio, photos, contests, and more. The widget also features audio and video of “4 Minutes†featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, the first single from the forthcoming Hard Candy.
A James Blunt gig is the last place I’d expect to see bone-snapping crowd-surfing but that’s what happened at a recent show in America.
The tank commander broke his finger after launching himself from the stage into a sea of rampaging fans.
He said: “I don’t know what made me do it. I jumped off at the end and was chased by women – and men – in the crowd. I started running and the next thing I knew I had broken my finger. I can’t play the piano but I can still play the guitar.â€
I’d launch myself offstage too after hearing You’re Beautiful for the eight millionth time.
Check out the fourth webisode from the “Being…Ashlee Simpson†series at Pepsi Smash on Yahoo! Music. See Ashlee try to go incognito and escape from the paparazzi as she continues shooting photos for Bittersweet World. Ashlee loves hanging out at the beach, so this time around she headed to Venice where she quickly realized that posing for pictures in a public place can get kind of embarrassing.

Hear Music artist Hilary McRae is set to release her debut album, Through These Walls, on 4/15. With influences including Chicago, Carole King and Fleetwood Mac, the 21 year old singer/songwriter/pianist wrote or co-wrote every song on the record. Hilary drew upon many personal experiences with love and heartbreak to gain inspiration for the album making it a record that everyone can relate to:
“The album talks about everything that can come along with being in a romantic relationship. From the good nerves and butterflies in the beginning, to the positive changes that can happen from having that wonderful person in your life, to the intense emotions you feel when things don’t work out as you had planned. Through These Walls catches the full spectrum of emotions you’d expect from being in a relationship.â€
