New Plain White Ts

Posted by Sam on 23rd September 2008 in New Single, Plain White T’s

The Plain White T’s are back with a new single called ‘1, 2, 3, 4’. In addition to naming their song like that, it also sounds like something that Feist would do. The new single is very similar to the band’s monster single ‘Hey There Delilah’ which is again, not a bad thing. That song was massive! The new song should do quite well at radio. It’s a pretty love song that’s catchy and clever. You can hardly go wrong with something pretty, catchy and pop. Just ask the Jonas Brothers. It’s pretty much the story of their music career.

Madonna Gets Crucified

Posted by Sam on 23rd September 2008 in Madonna, WORLD TOUR

Madonna recently had a performance at Wembley Stadium in London, England as part of her Sticky and Sweet Tour. Despite the performance Madonna still got crucified as the 50-year old Queen of Pop started her show 40 minutes late and thus stranded a lot of people who missed the train. Additionally, many speakers in the stadium were apparently not working which had concert-goers storm out in disgust. One person said “I have been a Madonna fan for over 25 years and have gone to all her concerts but the one in London last night was an absolute disgrace.” Let’s hope that Madonna can make it up to her fans somehow.

Oasis Postponed

The guy who attacked Noel Gallagher may have gotten off easy but he should watch out for Oasis and their Ontario, Canada fans. The band was supposed to play at the John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario on Tuesday night but due to injuries Noel got in last weekend’s attack, the show was postponed. The venue’s website put up a notice about it details what happened during the attack saying “Noel fell heavily on to his monitor speakers when he was pushed suddenly from behind by his attacker and suffered bruising to his ribs and hip. He was examined in a local hospital after the band’s performance and has been advised to rest. Unfortunately, despite resting up yesterday, the extent of his injuries mean he will not be able to perform tonight. The band are very keen to complete their Canadian tour and options for rescheduling the final London, Ontario show are currently being looked into. Ticket holders are asked to retain their tickets until a further announcement is made in a few days.”
