Well this is gross. Britney Spears took a detour from her Circus tour to do a very glamorous photo shoot for Elle magazine recently. Onlookers revealed that the recovered pop singer looked absolutely stunning in the fabulous couture, but then the shoot took a disastrous turn. A source said “They dressed her in all these beautiful couture clothes — and, well, let’s just say she forgot what time of the month it was. It wasn’t pretty.” Yuck! I don’t get how some women can forget about that. Doesn’t she have any people to keep her up-to-date on her so-called schedule? I feel bad for whoever had to clean those dresses.

American Idol runner up Adam Lambert has just been outed by judge Kara DioGuardi. The judge did a taped interview for The View which aired this past Friday. During the segment, Barbara Walters asked her if she though his perceived sexuality might have influenced the audience to vote for Kris Allen. Kara replied “Well, first of all, I hope not … because we should be judging on talent and viability in the music industry and they both [Lambert and Allen] had that. I don’t think that Adam [Lambert] was ever in [the closet]. I think he was always openly out.” When Barbara reaffirmed that it wasn’t the public’s perception that Adam was openly gay, Kara said “I think he was. I mean from what I’ve seen … I do. I never thought he wasn’t.” I wonder what Kara has seen that the rest of us haven’t.

The new Princess of Pop, Lady Gaga has just unleashed a masterpiece upon us. With the help of director Jonas Akerlund, who has directed Madonna, Prodigy and others, the music video for the singer’s latest UK single ‘Paparazzi’ is easily the best music video of the year. I think it’s her strongest work to date. It’s almost like a film really. It’s really artsy and visually orgasmic. It is brilliant and I am not exaggerating at all. Everybody is going to be talking about this video and everyone is going to love it whether they are a fan of Lady Gaga or not.

One of the youngest competitors on this year’s Britain’s Got Talent, Hollie Steel, is definitely not made of steel. The aspiring singer made it all the way to the semi-finals but she had a breakdown in the middle of it. During the live show on Friday, Hollie’s nerves got the best of her and she forgot her lyrics, with her performance crumbling shortly after. Hollie actually began crying on stage. The little girl begged to start over again and was told that she couldn’t. However, show creator and judge Simon Cowell vetoed his producers and let Hollie perform again later on in the broadcast. I don’t think that’s fair. The girl may be 10 but there are rules you know?
