Sir Paul McCartney still feels part of The Beatles

Sir Paul McCartney has said he still feels like he is part of The Beatles, 40 years after they split.
The 67-year-old singer said despite his solo success over the years, he still feels part of the legendary band.
He said: “I still think I am in The Beatles – it is something you don’t want to lose.
“For a while with Wings, I didn’t do Beatles songs on purpose, because I wanted to create a new thing. But once I started to get beyond Wings, I thought it would be nice.
“If I am doing songs from The Beatles, I remember the session when we recorded it.
“If I am doing Something, obviously I am thinking of George, and the memories of playing the ukulele.
“In a way, you are revisiting them. Similarly with John and Linda, you kind of are in contact with them again. It’s sad – it’s emotional.”
