Adam Lambert Talks Controversy

Posted by Sam on 30th November 2009 in AMA, Adam Lambert, American Idol

After having his performing on Good Morning America cancelled by ABC after his controversial performance at the AMAs, Adam Lambert was interviewed by Ryan Seacrest about it all. The gay singer talked about the performance, the double standard for male and female performers and how he felt about the cancellation of his GMA concert. The American Idol alum remains unapologetic but classy, saying “I don’t feel I owe anyone an apology for anything. I performed, it was late night TV, I did something that female performers have been doing for years, no different. I do think there’s a slight double standard. We’ve seen female pop performers doing extremely sexual routines for years and all of the sudden a guy does it and it’s crazy.”
