Either something is seriously wrong with 50 Cent or someone managed to hack his Twitter account. Whoever is posting things on the account and posing as the rapper sent a bunch of crazy and incoherent tweets that are not characteristic of 50’s normal activity. Here are a couple of examples: “Shut the fuck up elliott nigga ya feet stink Go take a bath lol”, “I got a gun on me now nigga do something I’m Strapped oh that necole bitchie bitch talking Bout me oh its on”, and “Don’t send me no fuckin wack beats man Dats why my last cd didn’t do right lol I should kill every producer on da last cd”. Ok. Whatever.
The sacrifices some people have to make for acting. It seems 50 Cent lost 54 lbs in nine weeks in order to prepare himself for a new acting role in the movie “Things Fall Appart”. This is the message that accompanied pictures of 50 Cent in his new form: ”50 Cent lost a lot of weight for his upcoming movie ‘Things Fall Apart’.” A glance at the pictures would’ve probably revealed as much… 50 Cent’s representative might have been a little more generous with the details, though. After all, the rapper wouldn’t want to shock his fans for nothing.

Rufus Wainwright recently had an interview with Details magazine where he revealed that he has a huge crush on rapper 50 Cent. The singer said “And I love, love 50 Cent. I think he’s just the sexiest, and a brilliant writer. And I know he’s gay.” When asked how he was so sure about the rapper’s sexuality, Rufus said “That cute little voice of his. It’s okay, 50 Cent. Feel free to call me anytime. My boyfriend and I are experts. You can come over for dinner. And maybe dessert.” I wonder how 50 will react to this once he finds out.
Rapper 50 Cent works hard for his money – not! The rapper/actor was paid $75,000 to appear at Bamboo in England and greet the crowd with one word – “Hey.” Everyone assumed that 50 Cent was going to perform or at least say a sentence or two but the club should have coughed up more money is they wanted a speech. A source said “It was the most blinging night ever. But he just greeted the crowd with ‘Hey’ and got back to his two personally requested ladies, who were lavishing booze on him.” Hey has now officially become the most expensive word.
50 Cent is apparently over the gangster hip hop genre and has decided to take his music into a whole new direction. Sources say that the rapper is already in the studio, laying down tracks for a dance album inspired by club music that he enjoyed during his tour of Europe. 50 explains “I went to a nightclub after party. It was different music after a while. The music they were playing before they were playing the music I created was more up-tempo, more dance. I wanted to make a song like that, so I went into the studio. Because I’m travelling with my live band, I took the band with me and we sequenced it and recorded the actual record while we was out there…I won’t allow myself to be placed in a box where I can only do one style, or do one kind of music. They should expect the unexpected on this one. If they can understand how I enjoy different genres of music and different styles, for the people who have various tastes in music, they’ll really like it.” This has to be the weirdest career move ever.
One of 50 Cent’s security guards sort of lost it at the paparazzi in Copenhagen last week and got himself arrested. It sounds like someone has anger issues! The bodyguard has been charged with assaulting two photographers outside of the rapper’s hotel by the Copenhagen PD. One reporter recalled the attack saying “One of 50 Cent’s bodyguards came out and told us to leave. The next thing I knew, he grabs my throat and tried to strangle me. He cut off my airway, and I couldn’t breathe. He took my camera and deleted photos. Hotel security came out and told us to call the police and that is what we did. I think the bodyguard attacked at least 2 other people. The bodyguard was arrested and I was told by the police that he was going to be charged with assault, threats and robbery.”
Even though the rapper was speaking about collaborating with the new hit sensation singer back when she was in the new big thing in New York, it seems 50 Cent’s words were nothing short of shallow. The rapper will soon have a tour in England and he most likely could’ve got Susan Boyle to open for him on his shows… in fact, some claim that was even her hope. But no, 50 Cent decides to go with David John instead of Susan Boyle. That’s honesty for you… oh well, he’ll probably soon regret it when Susan Boyle knocks everybody dead with another hit soon… Simon Cowell will probably see to that.
The rapper has recently expressed his desire to help Jamelia launch her career in the US by signing her up to his record label. This is what a source said about 50 Cent’s thoughts on Jamelia: “He thinks she is sexy, talented and has the right personality and talent to be huge in America. He wants to make her the new first lady of G-Unit, as it has no female artists.” Well, well, she must’ve really made an impression on 50 Cent at his movie premiere. Wasn’t this the guy who didn’t trust women too much? It didn’t take a lot to scramble his brains apparently.
Rapper Gucci Mane was sentenced to 12 months in jail on Thursday for violating his probation. Back n 2005, the entertainer pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to a year in jail last September since he failed to complete his court-mandated 600 hours of community service. Gucci ended up serving for 6 months. The rapper worked hard on his music after he got released and even took his career to the next level. After gaining huge popularity in the underground scene, Gucci had just started to appear in more mainstream music in songs by Mario, Omarion, Mariah Carey and 50 Cent. He even has a new single featuring Usher called ‘Spotlight’. Now, he’s going to have to put his career on hold again for jail time.
I guess the second coming of the rap show down between 50 Cent and Kanye West won’t be going down after all. Kanye is pushing up the release of his new album from December to November. The rapper recently released a statement on his blog saying “I CHANGED MY ALBUM (release) TO NOVEMBER SOMETHING CAUSE I FINISHED THE ALBUM AND I FELT LIKE IT.. I WANT YALL TO HEAR IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.†No one stands in Kanye’s way, unless of course he was scared that 50 was going to win this time around. I wonder if 50 is going to change his release date too.
Rap star 50 Cent said that if he didn’t beat Kanye West in terms of record sales when their new releases came head to head, he would retire. Well, Kanye beat him and there’s still no retirement announcement from 50.
It seems that 50 found a way around his retirement saying to Gatecrasher that his album “was No. 1 internationally the week it came out. It was the No. 1 European album!†Apart from teaching us how to go back on our word, 50 also teaches us a good geography lesson.
But if you want to get technical, he does have a point. He did beat Kanye to the top spot on the album and singles chart in Europe.
50 Cent has canceled two major international music events, citing “unforeseen and unanticipated” circumstances. The rapper – who vowed to retire if rival Kanye West beat him in the album charts, last week – has pulled out of performing at the MOBOs and the Vodafone Live Music Awards in London. Well Kanye West has already beaten him in the latest UK charts and that’s why he cannot bare the pain of having to eat him own words and has now become a subject of public mockery that’s for sure and he knows it well that there are good chances that if he appears at the awards ceremony and other place so soon after getting beaten the media and paparazzi would all be asking him the one question he cannot answer – ‘will you be retiring now’. This question could drive him mad and he doesn’t have the guts to retire or do anything remotely close to retiring. We all know he is a a**ho*e with a big out that knows to praise himself and nothing else.
Kanye West may be beating 50 Cent in the music polls when it comes to pre-orders but that doesn’t mean Kanye can be declared the winner in their rivalry. Proof of that would be the list that Forbes just came out with – the list of the Hip Hop Cash Kings.
Jay-Z, who took in $36 million in 2006, is on top. But what’s interesting with the list is that 50 comes in at #2 with $32 million while Kanye is at #8 wth only $17 million. Doi.

Kanye West’s rival 50 Cent recently lost his cool this week. He was reportedly furious at the fact that a new video of his was leaked to the web. What’s worse? He thinks that the leak was an inside job at Interscope.
The video ‘Follow My Lead’ was intended to drop in October and it features a collaboration with Robin Thicke.
When 50 found out about the leak, he freaked out and supposedly told Interscope execs that he refused to do promo work for his new album and then went on a destructive rampage. He has now refused to contact anyone from the label and Interscope is now doing damage control while rescheduling 50’s public appearances.
A new 50 Cent video has recently leaked out on youtube. The song is titled “Follow My Lead” featuring Robin Thicke and is confirmed to be 50’s next single. Apparently, this wasn’t supposed to come out until October but someone in 50’s crew leaked it. His new album “Curtis” is due for release on September 11th.

Rap rivals Kanye West and 50 Cent will go head to head on September 11th when their albums are released simultaneously. Last month, West decided to release his third album Graduation early, on August 21st, to avoid a sales war with 50 Cent’s new disc Curtis. After originally planning to release Curtis in June, 50 Cent delayed the album until September 4th, then last week it was postponed again until September 11th. And now West has decided to release Graduation on the same day, according to a representative from his record label Def Jam. Where’s the love, what about the fans that love 50&kanye? Did they stop and think that all there fans are not rich? And they cannot afford to buy 2 albums at the same time, there is enough money to go around, they just need to spread it out a lil bit! Please don’t put us in that position to have to choose between the 2, it is not fair!
