Bruce Springsteen Autobiography

Posted by Sam on 9th November 2009 in Book, Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen is looking to add “author” to his resume. The rock star is reportedly working on his autobiography which is allegedly composed of voluminous journals that the singer has meticulously kept over the years. Although the Boss has yet to sell the rights to them, insiders are saying that his life story has the potential to be the biggest rock music autobiography of all time and get up to $10 million for world rights. Who knew? Bruce is also said to be looking to hire a research assistant to help him compose the rock autobiography. I thought he kept journals, why would he need help getting things straight?

Bruce Springsteen’s Alleged Mistress is Obsessed

Reports are coming out that Bruce Springsteen really didn’t cheat on his wife with that Ann Kelly woman. Friends close to the rock star are saying that Ann is obsessed with Bruce. One of Bruce’s friends said “The wife pestered Bruce, but he didn’t have an affair with her. He’s freaked out that he was named in her divorce because he barely knows her. She seemed almost obsessed with Bruce… I think Bruce was scared of her.” The question I’m left to ask is why would Kelly’s soon-to-be ex-husband bother to mention Bruce’s name in the divorce papers? The source said “This is a classic case of someone taking advantage of Bruce just because he’s famous.” The only way for people to believe this is if it wasn’t widely known that Bruce was a serial cheater.

Some guy identified a third party in his divorce papers to be Bruce Springsteen and now, the Boss is turning to his personal website to issue a statement reaffirming his devotion to his wife of 18 years, Patti Scialfa. The rocker said “I hesitate to use this website for anything personal believing it should remain a place where fans of my music can come free of the distractions that occasionally arise with the rest of my job. However, due to the unfounded and ugly rumors that have appeared in the papers over the last few days, I felt they shouldn’t pass without comment. Patti and I have been together for 18 years — the best 18 years of my life. We have built a beautiful family we love and want to protect and our commitment to one another remains as strong as the day we were married.” So which one of them is lying?

Bruce Springsteen Headlines Glastonbury

England’s most famous summer music festival, Glastonbury, is going back to its guitar roots this summer. The organizers of the event just got Bruce Springsteen to sign on to be the headlining act. Last year, rapper Jay-Z was the headliner of the fest which made a lot of die-hard fans unhappy. Michael Eavis, the Somerset farmer who has hosted the event since 1970 said “I’m so pleased that Bruce Springsteen has agreed to come to Worthy Farm for the first time. He’s one of the all-time rock legends and I’m confident that this will be one of our best shows ever.”

Bruce Springsteen Apologizes

Bruce Springsteen has apologized to his fans for being a hypocrite after he struck an exclusive deal to release his greatest hits collection with Wal-Mart. Die hard fans have cried foul because the iconic rocker has been a longtime supporter of worker’s rights and Wal-Mart isn’t exactly known for the great way they treat their workforce. In a new interview with the New York Times, Bruce said “It was a mistake. Our batting average is usually very good, but we missed that one. Fans will call you on that stuff, as it should be.” Yes, well – we also know how the sight of money can impair anyone.
