Harper’s Bazaar made over Susan Boyle for their upcoming September issue and they did a mighty fine job cleaning up the Britain’s Got Talent runner up. The singer was photographed wearing the likes of Michael Kors, J. Crew and Giuseppe Zanotti and made the normally homely Susan virtually unrecognizable. Susan talked about makeovers saying “Maybe I’ll consider a makeover later on. For now I’m happy the way I am — short and plump. I would not go in for Botox or anything like that. I’m content with the way I look. What’s wrong with looking like Susan Boyle? What’s the matter with that?” Nothing at all!

Ashley Tisdale recently talked to Us Weekly about her new album ‘Edgy’. The actress and singer talked about how she found her new sound for her latest CD, saying “My music was more inspired by my hair color! After 5 years of blonde, I went back to my original color. It made my music edgier.” That’s probably the most shallow reason I’ve ever heard. And what is with singer’s changing hair colors for the new albums anyway? Ashley, Katherine McPhee – who’s next? And really, it’s not such a positive message that you’re changing your image to present something else that may not really be who you are.

Kanye West has just previewed one pair of loafer/sneaker designs that he did for his shoe line under Louis Vuitton. The musician wrote on his blog saying “Time to crash your Internet server. Here’s 1 one of the design’s [sic] I did for Louie [sic]… Sampled in white. Can’t say too much of that though. These [aren’t] coming out until June.” It looks pretty plain and boring to me. If you cared to know about it though, his shoe line is called ‘Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Shoes’. How completely uncreative for the usually very so-called artsy guy. I wouldn’t waste money on that.

If you’re sick of hearing spoilers about Madonna’s set list for her ‘Sticky & Sweet’ tour, then how about seeing spoilers of her tour costumes? Costume designs for the Queen of Pop’s tour have hit the web. Madonna has once again teamed up with designer Arianne Phillips whom she’s worked with for about 11 years. Phillips told Women’s Wear Daily that the new tour was a challenge saying “Normally we prep in April and May, and open in June. This time, the tour begins in August. It’s a nightmare. Everyone in Italy and France is on a beach sunning themselves.” She also revealed “Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci designed two outfits and Tom Ford provided bespoke suits for the band. Three pairs of shoes have been custom-made by Miu Miu, there are thigh-high boots courtesy of Stella McCartney, sunglasses from Moschino, and other outfits and odds and ends from Yves Saint Laurent, Roberto Cavalli, and Jeremy Scott.”

Kylie Minogue is no stranger to fashion. But for whatever reason, it seems like fashion is taking a backseat for the songstress.

Kylie showed up for the Q Awards in London on Monday but the usually flawless Aussie singer looked more like Aussie actress Nicole Kidman. Honestly, it’s not a good thing. The outfit Kylie chose for the red carpet looked more like it was part of the wardrobe for the West End production of Chicago more than anything. Burn it Kylie!

She has a new album coming out. She needs to step up with appearances. Come on girl! I know you have it in you.

Apparently, Nick Cannon isn’t one for duets. The solo artist has gone solo in his love life as well, with he and Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks calling off their engagement after just five months of betrothed bliss. Some couples are never meant to go all the way to the aisle and live a happily married life, they hit the speed breaker very soon, fall apart and understand that its better to stay apart than to stay together and make life hell for one another. This is the part that really makes me think there are some really sensible people out there who understand what commitment for a long successful relation means. Its not hunky dory all the time that you get into the bed and make hot sex and its pleasure full time all the way. You have a partner and you need to share time and responsibilities and that’s not something every lame jack ass is able to do not is it an easy task for a woman to leave a successful modeling career and say boy oh boy you make me feel so good but what about the times when you are going to be away.

Beyonce Knowles’ upcoming concert in Malaysia has been canceled, reportedly after the R&B superstar refused to tone down her stage show in order to perform. You go Beyonce! I agree with her. You either like an artist for who they are or you don’t. If you got to change yourself to perform for people who claim beforehand those they like the way you are, forget it. Beyonce is so much better than that. She has better things to worry about, like herself and her successful career. There are a 100 other countries to perform too where she doesn’t have to change. Beyonce rocks and thank god she has a brain and doesn’t change for everyone else. It’s a matter of being respectful, she is going to another country, with their rules, just follow and get over it, think of all the disappointed fans (the ones makes this all possible). It’s only clothing, everybody knows what you look like underneath all that clothes anyway.
