11 Killed in Music Fest Stampede

At least 11 people were killed this past weekend in a stampede during the final night of the Mawazine music festival in the Moroccan capital of Rabat. Kylie Minogue and Alicia Keys had performed at the festival in the weeks prior to the incident, which draws over a million people to the city of Rabat annually. 70,000 people had gathered at the closing night of the festival to hear hometown sensation Abdelaziz Stati when a wire fence gave out while the crowd was leaving the festival grounds. The crowd’s surge caused a stampede where 5 women, 4 men and 2 children suffocated to death while being trampled by the mass exodus of concert goers. My condolences go out to the family and friends of the victims.

When the concerts are being sold out in the matter of minutes then who on Godâ€™s Good Green Earth has the treasures to buy Kylie Minogue.

The larger than life news is that the tickets for the first concert of Kylie Minogue in Australia were sold out within two minutes on the morning of September 8.

The concerts are scheduled to be held on December 14 in Sydney and December 20 in Melbourne.

With not a single ticket available for the above two shows; now the tickets for two new shows have gone on sale. One show has been added to both Sydney and Melbourne.

Kylie Minogue is a sell out â€“ in a good way. The Australian singer sold out all eight of her UK shows in less than two hours which prompted promoters to add another seven UK shows to her schedule. Tickets went on sale at 9AM on Monday for the eight original scheduled shows and by 10AM the promoter added the extra shows to meet the demand.

Kylie has a lot to party for apart from that. Her new album â€˜Xâ€™ is #1 in Australia and #4 in the UK during its first week of release. She has also agreed to perform at the Brit Awards in February which will be hosted by Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne.

Kylie Minogue is no stranger to fashion. But for whatever reason, it seems like fashion is taking a backseat for the songstress.

Kylie showed up for the Q Awards in London on Monday but the usually flawless Aussie singer looked more like Aussie actress Nicole Kidman. Honestly, itâ€™s not a good thing. The outfit Kylie chose for the red carpet looked more like it was part of the wardrobe for the West End production of Chicago more than anything. Burn it Kylie!

She has a new album coming out. She needs to step up with appearances. Come on girl! I know you have it in you.

Unlike recent leaks in the music industry, this is the real deal and not some unfinished and very rough demo. Kylie Minogue just leant her magical voice to the track â€˜I Talk Too Muchâ€™, a song off the US release off of Just Jackâ€™s album. This is the first new Kylie song, sort of, in years.

Itâ€™s been a while since she released a new track after she went on a sabbatical to battle breast cancer but from the song that she did with Just Jack, itâ€™s obvious that she hasnâ€™t lost her touch yet. Itâ€™s just a matter of time until Kylie makes her own new release. I canâ€™t wait!
