Former Britain’s Got Talent winner George Sampson says he feels let down by Simon Cowell just a year after winning the show.

Dancer George reportedly said he feels Simon has forgotten him after he made a loss on his DVD.

The 16-year-old thinks he has taken a backseat to music acts such as Alexandra Burke and superstar Leona Lewis.

And the youngster said he has ended up owing money to Cowell’s company for his dance disc Access 2 All Areas.

He told British newspaper The Sun: “Things aren’t going so well with me and Simon. I suppose he’s realised he can make more money out of other people. But I thought we were tight. I had one of the best-selling DVDs at the start of the year. We sold loads of copies.”

He added: “But I’ve just found out that Simon’s company takes 90 per cent of the revenue. I get 10 per cent. But I have to pay the production costs out of that. So I ended up owing them money.

“I’m not quite sure how it all works, but that can’t be fair, can it?”

Rock stars King of Leon caught a departing flight to England via LAX last week. The Followill boys, Caleb, Jared, Matthew and Nathan, played at UK’s Reading Festival last Friday and at UK’s Leeds Festival on Sunday. The band has a busy year ahead of them as they will also be releasing a remix album and a live DVD, which was filmed in England where they first broke. Lead singer Caleb will also be making a fall appearance as a guest judge on the Food Network series ‘Iron Chef’. And Nathan will be walking down the aisle this November when he marries musician Jessie Baylin.

Beyonce is mad and she’s waving a lawsuit in the air to prove it. The singer is going after a couple of unknown suspects for hawking bootlegged goods outside her concerts. Er, how is that going to work if she doesn’t know who to sue exactly? Beyonce filed the lawsuit in New York, against John Does, to stop selling knock off CDs and merchandise, especially outside her Madison Square Garden concert. Yeah, good luck with that. You would think that she would just be smart about it and have extra security to check every suspicious looking guy instead of suing people she doesn’t even know the names of.

30 Seconds to Mars and EMI have come to an agreement and made a new record deal for the band’s highly anticipated third album and follow up to ‘A Beautiful Lie’. The band’s front man, Jared Leto said “It’s great to finally move forward and focus on what’s most important to us all- the music. We are excited about starting over with the many talented people at Virgin/EMI, and to sharing our new music with the fans in the very near future. We will never forget the unrelenting support from all our friends, family, and fans around the world.” The label’s President of A&R Labels also commented saying “We are thrilled to have set aside our differences and signed a new agreement with 30 Seconds to Mars. Our relationship has been extremely rewarding and successful, and we’re eager to move forward and put our global team to work on the brilliant new album they are recording with Flood.”

Paul McCartney is bringing back his alter ego, Fireman, by collaborating with some producer named Youth. Their new project, a CD called ‘Electric Arguments’ is set to come out on November 17th. Paul and Youth released an ambient dance album called ‘Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest’ back in 1993. The former Beatle’s involvement was initially a secret but later leaked out. They followed that up with another electronic release in 1998. The new offering from Paul and Youth will reportedly feature more traditional song writing, including classic rock and acoustic tracks, “yet is in keeping with the genre-hopping spirit of the first two Fireman albums.”

Spinner.com has just premiered the performance video for Alkaline Trio’s new single, “Help Me.” Director Tony Ushino (Ozzy Osbourne, Winds of Plague) pieced together clips from the band’s European tour along with some Bamboozle footage, to bring their first single from Agony and Irony to life. The band will be unveiling a proper, concept video for the track sometime in July.

Agony and Irony hits stores on July 1st.

Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) has just announced that they will be renewing Mariah Carey’s contract in an exclusive worldwide publishing agreement. The diva is sure to make millions by signing the contract with the company which will continue to publish Mariah’s songs and future records. In a statement, the Chairman and CEO of UMPG David Renzer said “Mariah Carey is well known for her incredible voice, but we also celebrate her incredible strength as a songwriter and the fact that she has co-written most of her best known songs.” He also mentions how honored they are that Mariah agreed to renew her contract.

If the 17-second leak of the song Madonna and Justin Timberlake did was any indication, then the Queen of Pop is going hip hop on her new album which will be out in April. The singer has changed her style numerous times over the span of her career – a few hits and misses but not so much problems. While many are anxious about this turn in her musical direction, there are also a lot who like the songs that have been leaked thus far. Just hope that she doesn’t rap on anything, otherwise, that’s a whole other story. But if it’s any indication, Rolling Stones magazine heard 5 songs from Madonna’s new album and their in-depth review of it is quite promising!

This is the 15th edition of the compilation, and this year it features the likes of Plain White T’s, Justin Timberlake, and Foo Fighters, to name a few. Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton was the first to report that Timbaland leaked Madonna’s rumored new single ‘4 Minutes to Save the World’ and also even posted the track on the website. But it seems that the move has infuriated Madonna’s current record label Warner Bros. because Perez was told to take down the recording. They obliged of course. What’s one simple click of a mouse compared to millions due to a lawsuit?

Timbaland played the song in concert on Sunday night and now, audio and video recordings of the song are all over the internet. Someone may just get a stern talking to.

Stripping away the glossy production and grandiose dynamics that sent their debut album Albatross soaring, Classic Crime get back to basics with the Seattle Sessions. If anything, the stripped back arrangements and rawness of the sound feeds the immediacy and intensity of Crime’s music, further accentuating the drama inherent in the lyrics and Matt MacDonald’s vocals. And drama washes across this set, themed around touring’s heavy toll. “I’m so lost,” MacDonald cries out on “Far from Home,” the album’s emotional denouement, as the band struggles to stay afloat under waves of homesickness. The C&W tinged “Drink in My Hand” is a romantic number intercut with road angst, with MacDonald lamenting, “I am almost nowhere, and I’m getting there fast. Bitterness spills over the heavy hitting “Wake Up (Ship Wreck),” and drips across the folky “The Test,” as the band sarcastically raise a glass to “the promise of glamorous living.” It feels so ludicrous the pursuit of this dream, we thought we’d be there long ago,” perfectly sums up the mood of the set and band itself. But they’re not the only ones far from home and fearful of the future, with the evocative “When the Time Comes” drawing veiled references to Iraq and Afghanistan. Filled with impassioned songs, each beautifully delivered, and backed by superb guitar work and strong rhythms, this sublime set is very different from Crime’s electric work, but just as magnificent.

Fans now have the opportunity to follow Ashley through an intimate behind-the-scenes look at the making of Headstrong. These 45 minutes of exclusive nonstop footage give a glimpse into Ashley’s hectic life including promoting her album and touring with the High School Musical cast.
