Lady Gaga’s comments always seem to be as unique as the singer’s style. The ‘Poker Face’ singer recently made another pop culture prophecy by comparing the fandom of iconic rock band The Beatles to the current-day Jonas Brothers mania. Lady Gaga mused “Now we have the Jonas Brothers representing the return of the superfan.” I’m not too sure about that. If memory serves me right, didn’t the Backstreet Boys, Hanson, NSYNC and even the New Kids on the Block bring back the superfan over a decade ago? I guess Lady Gaga wasn’t even aware enough of those fandoms to have made the comparison.

When news broke out of a New Kids on the Block reunion, Danny Wood was quick to post a bulletin on MySpace saying that it’s not true. But the New Kid has changed his tune and has since posted a new post on his official blog about the possibility of a reunion. He says “Hi to all the New Kids On The Block fans, I wanted to clarify since my first post this morning regarding the NKOTB reunion. I loved being a part of the group, and have always thought “maybe someday we’ll get back together” – you just never know when your someday will come. I can guarantee all the fans that if this reunion were to happen, they would hear about it first on NKOTB.com.â€
