When you get successful, people all of sudden either want to be your friend and get some freebies bought with your hard-earned money or they want to sue you for it.

While a lot of celebrities get sued for something when they get rich with baseless accusations, I can’t say the same for Soulja Boy who just got sued with a very tough case ahead of him. The rapper with the most obnoxious song of the year is being sued for trademark infringement by a musician named Souljah Boy.

A rep for the guy with an H says “I am writing on behalf of the law firm of Alexander, Odunze & Kang LLP to give you a heads up re: the attached complaint, which was filed in federal court this afternoon on behalf of Willie Lyons p/k/a Souljah Boy. By way of background (and as you may already know), Mr. Lyons, known in commerce as Souljah Boy for over twelve years, is suing artist Soulja Boy (birth name: DeAndre Way), his record label, attorney & manager in connection with his blatant infringement of Mr. Lyons’ trademark.”

Soulja may have to pay up.

Jessica Sierra, a former “American Idol” finalist, was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest, and violation of parole. She was on probation because of an earlier incident where she was charged with felony battery and cocaine possession.This earlier incident occurred in April. Sierra was accused of assaulting a man with a glass in a nightclub in Tampa. She was then found with cocaine on her person as she was being booked at the jail. It was just November 19 when a judge sentenced her to 12 months probation and submission to random drug testing.

This latest arrest came Saturday morning at approximately 2:10 a.m. Sierra was at a bar when officers attempted to arrest her, she tried to push them away and run from the scene. Her lawyer gave no comment, saying that he had not yet spoken with his client.

Sierra was slated to appear on the upcoming reality show “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.” The show will follow twelve celebrities as they go through rehab for their various addictions.

Is Sierra actually a celeb in the first place?

Hawthorne Heights guitarist Casey Calvert was found dead on the band’s tour bus on Saturday just hours before they had a scheduled concert in Washington DC. The cause of death is still unknown but word is going around that Calvert’s asthma may have played a part.

The band has since posted a message on their website expressing their sadness and regret over losing their band mate and friend. They insist that Casey wasn’t doing anything illegal and they hope that for the sake of Casey and his family to not succumb to what gossip may spread.

My condolences go out to Casey’s family and the rest of Hawthorne Heights.

If you can’t take the heat, stay out of the kitchen. And that’s what Celine Dion just did when she cancelled a concert planned for next year in Halifax, Canada because she didn’t like what the local media and residents were blabbing on about her.

Celine’s manager and husband Rene Angelil released a statement about it saying “I’m not saying that all people in Halifax are negative, but … this is a question of feeling. We’re humans. If you would go to a city and you read day after day … ‘This is not the place for you, you shouldn’t have come, I expected someone else,’ I don’t know how you would feel about going there.”

He’s been battling YouTube uploaders and several fan sites over the use of material in any way possible and people have gotten mad over it. But now, Prince is looking to make nice with his supporters the best way he knows how. And that’s through song all you purple-loving people.

No wonder ‘Spice Girls’ tickets were so hard to get! Mel Chisholm (aka: Sporty Spice) says that the Spice Moms (or Old Spice as I like to call them) will strip down on stage and go completely nude.

Chisholm says, “We do actually go naked in the show, completely.”

Before you get too excited, I should warn you that even though they’ll be naked, you won’t be seeing much because they’ll be covered with stage props. Who wants to see them naked anyway? Maybe 10 years ago, but certainly not now.

The band is currently rehearsing sexy dance routines and has agreed to sing in the nude – with stage props covering their modesty.

His lawyer might have gone on the record to confirm it but Bobby Brown himself is denying that he suffered a mild heart attack. Bobby says that he went to the hospital for a simple checkup.

Bobby said to the AP “I did go to the hospital … to just get a checkup, get everything tested out so that I could go on this tour, and everything is fine.” He has a performance in LA on Saturday and he’s all set for it.

His lawyer Phaedra Parks said that Bobby’s condition was serious but that he was doing good. So what’s the real story?

The Bump N Grind hitmaker, 40, has been charged with 21 counts of child pornography and sex with an underage girl in 2002 in his native Chicago, Illinois. He’s a sick bastard, and quite frankly, I don’t think he’d work with you Fergie…you’re way over his age limit. I personally think R Kelly is a child molester. I would never in a million years ever buy any of his music. I have to wonder about Fergie, if she had a daughter would she want this pervert around her? He might be a good musician though I have my doubts on that too coz a person who has molested child can never have a clean mind and therefore not be a good person either. He if likes to see 5 and 8 year old girls nude and then makes blue movies of them for the adult market he has some serious sex problems and his dick could be having some fungus growing on it soon. Fergie please do not associate your self with him.

Heidi Montag celebrated her 21st birthday on Saturday night by performing her new single ‘Higher’ during her party at LAX nightclub at the Luxor hotel in Las Vegas. If you recall, that’s the same day that her arch rival Lauren Conrad launched her fashion collection online.

The reality show star turned wannabe singer and her boyfriend Spencer Pratt had dinner with friends at Sin City’s Social House inside the Treasure Island hotel before her big singing debut. Spencer even acted as Heidi’s publicity when he was spotted wearing a ‘Team Heidi’ shirt earlier in the day.

Britney Spears’ lawyer wants to seal all court papers in her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline over their two small sons.

Attorney Laura A. Wasser filed a motion Friday asking a Superior Court commissioner to make permanent a conditional order to seal all documents dealing with custody. It was filed in response to a motion by People magazine and TV station seeking to unseal some of the papers.

“This is the perfect instance to stop the madness,” Wasser said in court. Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan agreed with Wasser’s motion.

Commissioner Scott Gordon heard arguments Friday, but put off ruling on the issue until a hearing set for Monday on Federline’s request to gain a bigger share of custody.

Representing People and KNBC-TV, lawyer Alonzo Wickers cited a pair of cases that he said show family law documents, even those involving custody, need not be kept entirely private.

“No statute says custody-related documents should be broadly sealed,” Wickers said.

The singer married Federline in October 2004. She filed for divorce last November and the divorce became official July 30. The two have joint custody of sons Sean Preston, who turned 2 on Friday, and Jayden James, who turned 1 on Wednesday.

Kid Rock has appeared on morning radio talking about the major stories from Sunday’s MTV’s Video Music Awards, including Britney Spears, Kanye West, and of course his brawl with Tommy Lee.

Perezhilton.com reports that Rock appeared on San Diego radio station Rock 105.3 this morning and responded to Tommy Lee’s Internet post about the tussle at Sunday night’s awards in which he called Kid Rock “Kid Pebble” and says Rock “bitch-slapped” him.

Pointing out that he did not respond online to Lee, Rock said “I don’t talk. And he’s doing what he does best, he’s talking. And I really can’t say a lot about it–my attorneys told me not to, obviously–but I think there’s enough eyewitnesses there to say what happened. And of course he has a different story, which makes perfect sense.”

He then reportedly questioned why Lee was even at the ceremony.

“I was trying to figure out why is this whatever, 45-year-old man, who’s not involved with the show, who doesn’t have an album coming out, who has nothing to promote, even sitting through this garbage? I go to those things because I have my album coming out October 9th, and I think it’s the best record I’ve done so I’m trying to promote that. Other than that I don’t want to go sit through Britney Spears lip-synching and some kid dancing.”

Rock commented on Britney’s now-infamous failed comeback and her appearance, saying:

“How does MTV do that, with like, is there some sort of special editing or camera filters they use, how do they make like Britney Spears look overweight and like she’s lip-synching like that? That was incredible.”

And despite accusing MTV of racism against Kayne West, Rock also suggested that West’s outburst was unnecessary.

“Obviously with Kanye West not winning the award, we know Bush doesn’t like black people–apparently MTV doesn’t, either. I was walking through the press line you know and he came storming through like Norman, like it was D-Day or something. I’m like, ‘Calm down, man, it’s just a kind of corny award show.’”

Self-praise is what keep our celebrities in high spirits and their own world where they are the most secure and comfortable. Once again, Avril Lavigne has opened up her big, stupid, ugly, annoying, conceited, dumb (I could keep going) mouth about how great she is. She’s already put down Britney Spears and now she’s saying how she’s better than Kelly Clarkson. Umm, I don’t think so honey. Kelly Clarkson may have gained 20 pounds and dropped an album her executives hated but she’s still a million times more talented, interesting and beautiful than Avril. She thinks she was born to do this and so she can now cope with her fame. What rubbish, does a sweeper or cab driver have to do the same job because he thinks he was born to do this? Avril if you really mean the words you’ve said in the interview then that’s like – do you know how many more albums you going to make or how long you going to behave in such a high headedness manner. Give me a break please. Quit giving your lame back-handed compliments.

Rapper The Game disappointed fans when he failed to turn up at a hip-hop concert in Auckland, New Zealand on Saturday. The Dreams hitmaker was scheduled to join Akon, Naughty By Nature and Sisqo at the Roc Tha Block gig in the city’s Vector Arena. He might have forgotten to wear his inner wear material and these guys usually don’t wear it anyways so the thought if he made it to the venue he could be dragged of the stage and his clothes would be ripped by the audience for already being so late. The next time he visits New Zealand the ticket holders should be there at the arrival lounge and ask for their money back right there at the Airport itself.

Nicole Richie’s rocker boyfriend appeared with his band Good Charlotte on “Live! With Regis and Kelly” on Thursday. Philbin was talking to Joel Madden about his pregnant socialite girlfriend and he asked if Madden had any plans to put a ring on her finger any time soon. Madden confessed that he’d hoped it would be a surprise. Philbin moved on quickly to question Madden’s twin brother then. Joel also told Regis that he’s been reading books to help him prepare for the birth of their child. Richie is four and a half months pregnant with their baby. I still find them to be an extremely odd couple but then again it was odd when he dated Hilary Duff too. He seems to like those girly girls rather than the rocker ones like himself. I think marriage is laughable for these two but that’s hardly any of my business. I guess they want to do the honourable thing and tie the knot. After all, it unties very easily in Hollywood. Nothing lasts forever there.

A rep for singer Amy Winehouse has announced that the plug is being pulled on the remaining August concert dates. She was hospitalized for extreme exhaustion last week and since then there have been rehab rumours surrounding her. Her spokesperson Tracey Miller said that she is taking the necessary time to deal with her health issues. From there they requested that Amy’s privacy be respected. There were no further comments. Her and her husband reportedly checked in and out of a rehab retreat. He said they just went home to get a guitar. It’s obvious that everyone has their vices though we may not all share the same ones. If she’s entering rehab of any kind then it’s clearly more than exhaustion. It leads me to recall all of the college and university students popping speed so they can study and work two jobs to get by. I wouldn’t be surprised it some stars are doing it too and it’s only going to lead to one of two things. Death or burnout.

Police in Indiana seized marijuana and illegal mushrooms in a raid on New Found Glory’s tour bus. The band’s roadie was arrested after the drug bust in Indianapolis on August 1 and later charged with possession – but band members were allowed to go free. The cops have held the right culprit and released the innocent, I think the cops have busted actually. Why arrest the roadie man, he was merely doing his job of carrying the band for the shows and the members of the band might really be the people who were carrying the marijuana and mushrooms to consume while on tour. The police in Indiana have got hold of the wrong person and he should immediately be released the New Found Glory band should be called for interrogation, this way we shall all lose our faith in police system in the country. Lately there have been so many incidents involving stars and celebs that it is hard to think of someone else being the culprit.

Since being reported and complained against as one crappy neighbor, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus has learned to pick up after himself.

The old country dog is learning a new trick. But then again, it doesn’t take rocket science to pick up some dog poop. Future star Miley Cyrus’, AKA Hanna Montana, dad must have felt some pressure building around his recent indecent shortcomings and decided to sack the fresh poop in his Toluca Lake neighborhood over the weekend.

Kanye West’s rival 50 Cent recently lost his cool this week. He was reportedly furious at the fact that a new video of his was leaked to the web. What’s worse? He thinks that the leak was an inside job at Interscope.

The video ‘Follow My Lead’ was intended to drop in October and it features a collaboration with Robin Thicke.

When 50 found out about the leak, he freaked out and supposedly told Interscope execs that he refused to do promo work for his new album and then went on a destructive rampage. He has now refused to contact anyone from the label and Interscope is now doing damage control while rescheduling 50’s public appearances.

Yep, he’s going to retire.

Kanye is pulling a publicity stunt using the word bling, as if he invented it, to say he won’t use it any more. His album is coming out the same day as 50 cent, the guys using situations or each other to pick fights with to get attention. It’s call ‘beef” what beef he has with anyone else using the word bling as much as people of my race uses the “n” word publicly and privately. And this time he’s using something totally farce and off bases to get public attention. Wont work, I am not buying the comment or his album, or 50 at that rate. It seems to me these days that the African Americans are more racist towards whites than any other race. I am DEFINITELY NOT racist! But why is it okay for African Americans to say something like that about whites, but not vice versa??! Can you imagine a white singer saying something like that about an African American?? Hell NO! What KANYE WEST said is uncalled for. I love his music, but I definitely don’t like his racist remarks.

Rap’s critics have been complaining for years, only to watch the music become even more profane – and more popular. But now it seems as if Don Imus may be accomplishing what a generation of detractors could not. Four months after outrage over Imus’ sexist and racial comments led to intense scrutiny of rap’s negative imagery, and as the genre’s sales continue to plummet, some artists are publicly abandoning offensive language. This where I think that some Muslim country’s that ban use of foul language in the lyrics of music videos do the right thing when they ban stuff that’s obscene. If we allow the seeds to grow then one day we will be fighting to cut the bad crop we sowed.
Thank god that I am not a big fan of these guys and I do not have hear these guys scream all that shit into my ears every morning I leave for work. More so the drop in sales of the CD’s of these artist have been the most driving force for them to realize that we do not except them in this form.
