Sir Paul McCartney will be performing his first ever solo stadium tour in the UK this coming summer. The 67-year old Beatles legend will also be headlining Hard Rock Calling and then the Isle of Wight music festival with Jay-Z and The Strokes. The singer said “It’s always brilliant to play for the home crowd and these dates are the ones that me and the band are really excited about. This will be my first show on the Isle of Wight and I’m looking forward to a rollicking night of rock ‘n’ roll. I always remember hearing such great things about this festival and it has such a sense of history with the likes of Jimi Hendrix playing there the first time round.”

Susan Boyle can wake up with a happy face and celebrate as the singer has the most anticipated album in the world. The release date for her album ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ was recently announced and she is putting other huge names to shame by being the number 1 album on Amazon.com. The Britain’s Got Talent star beat out the likes of comeback diva Whitney Houston and the Beatles’ upcoming re-mastered ‘Abbey Road’. Good job Susan! I can’t believe she beat out those two names! That’s just amazing! Her debut album will be released on November 24th. I for one will be lining up to buy her album.

Paul McCartney to release unheard Beatles songs

Paul McCartney says that he has with him in a collection, old Beatles songs that have never been released or heard before. He says the reason why they werenâ€™t release earlier is that other members of the band thought that the experimental track ‘Carnival of Light’ was way to adventurous.

But he know considers that the public will appreciate that track and is planning to seek the permission of Ringo, the only other surviving Beatle, George’s widow Olivia & John’s widow Yoko Ono to release the 1967 record.

Paul told BBC Radio 4 â€œI said to the guys, this is a bit indulgent, but would you mind giving me 10 minutes? All I want you to do is just wander round all the stuff and bang it, shout, play it. Then we put a bit of echo on it. It’s very free.â€

Well certainly the public would love to hear something that the Beatles as a band found indulgent. But these things come in installments, like every few years there is a noise of some unreleased, unheard Beatles composition waiting to be heard after so many years.
