The paintings on canvas were based on drawings and sketches that the legendary singer made while on the road between 1989 and 1992. The rock star talked about his art and said “I just draw what’s interesting to me, and then I paint it.” The gallery, which includes landscapes and personal scenes, will run through April 10. Based on the little bit that was seen in news previews, Bob isn’t a shabby artist. I wouldn’t say that he’s amazing though. Oh well, I don’t really understand much of art anyway.

The invention of the flute was a major moment in musical history… this is just a vague possibility of circumstance. Either way, Paul McCartney doesn’t seem to have any thoughts on the matter as of yet so revolutionizing musical history will probably have to wait for a bit.

The music video for My Chemical Romance’s “Desolation Row” has finally made its North American debut. The song, a reinterpretation of the Bob Dylan classic, was recorded specifically for the upcoming feature film Watchmen. Watchmen: Music From the Motion Picture, which contains the song, is due from Warner Sunset/Reprise Records on March 3rd, three days before the film hits theaters nationwide.
