But you know your paths have to cross for something like that to make sense.” A source also added the following about a possible collaboration between Bob Dylan and Paul McCartney: “This would obviously be a major moment in musical history if Bob and Paul got together and it’s quite likely that Paul will be interested.” A major moment in musical history? The invention of the flute was a major moment in musical history… this is just a vague possibility of circumstance. Either way, Paul McCartney doesn’t seem to have any thoughts on the matter as of yet so revolutionizing musical history will probably have to wait for a bit.

Of course, if the other duet from American Idol performed well due to Adam Lambert’s innate charm, this duet, formed by Kris Allen and Danny Gokey who performed Styx’s Renegade, didn’t hold out too well against the odds. Simon Cowell, as always offers the spiciest comments ever and he just resumed himself to saying that Danny Gokey was better than Kris Allen. That’s real criticism for you… right on the spot. And considering that Danny Gokey was deemed “probably safe” by Simon Cowell, it might mean that Kris Allen is in for a bit of a painful break with his rising career.
