Mariah Carey answered some questions about her album at a press conference at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel on Tuesday in Seoul, South Korea. The 39-year old singer was asked why she titled her album ‘Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel’. She said “Society seems to make people feel bad about not being perfect, especially in the entertainment business. I thought, wouldn’t it be cool if that would be the theme of the album and speak to the people who may be growing up, and you feel you’re not good enough…It’s one of those things when the title makes the record.” If you listen to the album, everything she said just didn’t make sense.

In a recent interview, the singer talked about Lola’s cameo in her ‘Celebration’ video, following her footsteps and accepting Lola’s decision regarding her career path. Madonna said “I’m fine with it, as long as she finishes school, and takes it seriously. She also plays piano, and she’s really into clothes and fashion and style. She can go in any direction. She’s got a lot of diverse interests right now. We’ll see. I’m not pushing anything. We’ll see what she wants to do.” Madonna also said that she thinks Lola wants to be more of an actress rather than a singer.
