Taylor Swift is excited about Saturday Night Live

The singer recently came up and admitted that she is terribly excited about hosting the famous Saturday Night Live show. Taylor Swift wrote the following on her twitter: : “Starting the SNL process I kinda feel like I might have a heart attack or pass out in the pitch meeting. I’m that excited.” Taylor Swift probably has nothing to worry about… if she does pass out, Taylor Lautner will most likely be there to catch her. Or, to make matters more amusing, Kanye West will play the part of the human trampoline, after all, it is supposed to be a comedy show.

New Kris Allen

American Idol champ Kris Allen has released his new single ‘Live like We’re Dying’ off of the singer’s as yet untitled album which is scheduled to come out on November 17. Let me say this – I am quite sure that this is going to be a smash hit! The song is actually a cover from the Irish pop rock band The Script. Just like Kris did with Kanye West’s song ‘Heartless’, he totally sang the cover song as if it was it was written for him to sing. Honestly, he’s the only one I know who can make a cover sound totally original.

Kanye West Apologizes for a Third Time

After acting like a disrespectful douche bag towards Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, Kanye West took to his blog twice to apologize to the country singer. The rapper then continued his tour of contrition during his appearance on Jay Leno’s new talk show on NBC last Monday. Kanye apologized once again and said that he needed to take some time off. I think he needs to check himself into rehab if he was chugging down a bottle of Hennessy like what he did at the ceremony. Hopefully, the time off that he was talking about wouldn’t affect his upcoming co-headlining tour with Lady Gaga.

Pink said “Kanye west is the biggest piece of shit on earth. Quote me.” Adam Lambert said “Kanye needs to chill. He freaks out every year. It ain’t that deep man.” Joel Madden said “WOW Taylor Swift’s first VMA and she didn’t even get to ENJOY it. Kanye You were just a bully on that one man.” Kellie Pickler said “Tator Tot, you handled yourself with Grace. Kanye, go grow some f-ing balls bitch! don’t mess w/my lil sis!!” Mind you, those are some of the nicer ones.

Kelly said “…I’ve seen you do some pretty shitty things, but you just keep amazing me with your tactless, asshole ways. It’s absolutely fascinating how much I don’t like you. I like everyone. I even like my asshole ex that cheated on me over you…which is pretty odd since I don’t even personally know you… Is winning a moon man that much of a life goal?? You can have mine if it will shut you up. Is it that important, really??” And that’s just half of the letter that she wrote.

Kanye West stormed the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards and ruined country starlet Taylor Swift’s big moment by insisting her award should have gone to Beyonce.

The hip hop star was roundly booed by the celebrity-packed audience after interrupting Taylor’s acceptance speech by grabbing the microphone to slam the result in the very first category.

Kanye jumped up from his seat in the audience after Taylor’s promo for You Belong To Me had been announced as the winner of Best Female Video ahead of Beyonce’s Single Ladies video.

He took the microphone from stunned Taylor and blasted: “Yo Taylor. I’m really happy for you, I’m going to let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.”

The watching Beyonce looked horrified as the TV cameras cut to her immediately.

The audience responded with a chorus of boos as Kanye shrugged and returned the microphone to shellshocked Taylor before leaving the stage.

They continued to boo every time Kanye’s name was mentioned throughout the show on Sunday night, with the Love Lockdown star nominated for several awards himself.

Celebrities were quick to pan Kanye on their Twitter pages, with Katy Perry, who was at the ceremony, Tweeting: “F*** you Kanye. It’s like you stepped on a kitten.”

Jay-Z’s Album Got Bumped

The release date of Jay-Z’s ‘The Blueprint 3’ got bumped up and I didn’t even know until after the album dropped! The rapper’s album, featuring collaborations with Rihanna, Kanye West and Alicia Keys just to name a few, dropped yesterday. The album was originally scheduled to hit stores on September 11th, marking the eight year anniversary of the release of 2001’s ‘The Blueprint’. I have a feeling that the release date switch had to do with the entire album leaking out onto the internet recently. They could at least try to fool everyone else who hasn’t heard about the leak.

Fox is trying to pull out all the stops to ensure that their musical drama ‘Glee’ holds the attention of everyone. Expect to see the first soundtrack of the show released through Columbia Records very soon. The CD will feature 17 songs from the hit show’s first season, including Queen’s ‘Somebody to Love’, Neil Diamond’s ‘Sweet Caroline’, Kanye West’s ‘Gold Digger’ and Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believin’. I was at Stella McCartney’s Paris fashion show with the vice president of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, Paul McCartney and Kanye West. The entire time Kanye is going, ‘They need more fur in this show’. He just wouldn’t shut up about how he loved fur. I mean, he’s saying this to me, the PETA guy and Paul McCartney! I was just so grossed out by him. I’m like, ‘You’re an idiot!’ There are so many people who I think are a waste of skin and he’s up there. I should wear him. Go on, donate yourself Kanye. Rihanna is featured in Kanye West’s new music video for his song ‘Paranoid’. It’s the fourth single from the rapper’s fourth studio album ‘808s & Heartbreak’. The 21-year old Barbadian singer doesn’t sing on the song or speaks in the video but she does look absolutely gorgeous. It’s really more like a tribute video to Rihanna’s beauty rather than her talent really. The music video first premiered last week at the Island Def Jam Spring Collection party at Stephen Weiss Studio in New York City. It’s already made its way on the internet and it’s soon to make its way on TV.

Even though Adam Lambert seems to be the favorite for the first place on American Idol, his competition is not likely to be giving up to easily. Kris Allen goes for a very bold song choice by doing Kanye West’s “Heartless”. The surprising part is that he does it only with his voice and guitar… a bold move for which he is commended by the judges… even Simon Cowell who says that with this performance, Kris Allen managed to wipe away the failure of his first song for the evening. It’s a really tough race it seems and Kris Allen has a good starting speed… especially considering that he actually made Kanye West’s music sound like real music.

New Kanye Album

When you have a massive tour going on, when do you find the time to write new tracks for a new album? Ask Kanye West how he did it because thatâ€™s his case. Billboard is reporting that the rapperâ€™s management has confirmed that heâ€™s seriously considering dropping his fourth album by the end of the year. Heâ€™s been on tour for a good chunk of the year and has been producing track for Jay-Zâ€™s new album and he still found time to do this. Heâ€™s like Wonder Woman â€“ err, man. The name of the album hasnâ€™t been disclosed though but Kanye reportedly intended to name his next album â€˜Good Ass Jobâ€™ a couple of years back. I wonder if it would stick.
