Fergie and Josh Duhamel Celebrate New Years

Fergie and her hubby Josh Duhamel rang in the new year at LAX nightclub in Las Vegas by hitting the red carpet together and sharing a foot-popping kiss at midnight. The 34-year old singer and actress went on stage just before midnight to count down the seconds left in 2009 with the rest of the Black Eyed Peas. Josh rushed out onto the platform where she was standing and gave her a kiss in front of the entire crowd. I’m all for public displays of affection but I thought that was a little too much, especially with rumors of his extra-marital affairs still being on a lot of people’s minds.

Axl Rose Brawl Confirmed

Rumors recently surfaced that Guns N Roses lead singer Axl Rose got into a fight with the paparazzi at LAX on Wednesday night. His rep is confirming the report and is placing the blame on the photographers for their aggressive behavior. The statement reads “Axl Rose was unhurt last evening when he was accosted by an unruly group of paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Mr. Rose, who was about to enter a security checkpoint at LAX when the altercation took place, was approached by a group of unchecked and unruly photographers who became aggressive with the singer and female members of the travelling group. Mr. Rose was not injured during the unprovoked attack and was able to board his flight without further incident.”

Kings of Leon Keep Busy

Rock stars King of Leon caught a departing flight to England via LAX last week. The Followill boys, Caleb, Jared, Matthew and Nathan, played at UK’s Reading Festival last Friday and at UK’s Leeds Festival on Sunday. The band has a busy year ahead of them as they will also be releasing a remix album and a live DVD, which was filmed in England where they first broke. Lead singer Caleb will also be making a fall appearance as a guest judge on the Food Network series ‘Iron Chef’. And Nathan will be walking down the aisle this November when he marries musician Jessie Baylin.
