Pussycat Dolls Creator Talks Band’s Future

Now that the Pussycat Dolls as we knew them are over, the band’s creator Robin Antic has spoken out on what exactly to expect when she reboots the all girl group with brand new members and what lead singer Nicole Scherzinger’s role in the band may be. Robin said “Some of the girls who have shared the stage and spotlight with Nicole are ready to begin artistic journeys of their own and I support them completely. I am happy to announce the creation of a NEW Pussycat Dolls, with Nicole Scherzinger continuing on as lead singer. We hope all our fans will join us on a journey that will prove to be a once-in-a-lifetime dream for many girls around the world.”

Pussycat Doll Denies Dating Jay Sean

It was previously reported that Nicole Scherzinger was dating Jay Sean. However, the former lead singer for the Pussycat Dolls has taken to her Twitter to defend herself and to debunk rumors. Nicole said “The Jay Sean story is BS…we met to speak about doing a song together, NOTHING further is going on between me and Jay Sean and never will!” Hasn’t she heard of the saying “never say never”. That’s a pretty assertive denial. Maybe they didn’t hit it off so well. If I’m to go off on what Nicole said, I don’t think there will be any sort of collaboration for them any time soon or at all.

Pussycat Dolls Possible Collaborators

The Pussycat Dolls are still on hiatus but they apparently have some big plans for when they stop kidding themselves and just accept that Nicole Scherzinger is the reason that they are still somewhat significant. The band’s creator, Robin Antin, is hoping to bring in some big names to collaborate with the girls, inlcuding the likes of Snoop Dogg and Fergie. Robin said “As far as women, I’d love to do a collaboration with Fergie. I think having her on an album would be incredible and something I’ve always wanted to do.” One step at a time girl. You have to get the girls back together first.

Taylor Lautner and Kellan Lutz added to list of presenters for People’s Choice Awards

New Moon stars Taylor Lautner and Kellan Lutz have been added to the list of presenters for the People’s Choice Awards on January 6.

Lautner is up for Favourite Breakout Movie Actor, and Twilight is up for Favourite Movie and On-Screen Team for Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Stewart and Pattinson are also nominated in the Favourite Movie Actress and Actor categories. It has yet to be confirmed if Pattinson and Stewart will appear at the show.

Mary J Blige will perform, and other celebs in attendance include Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds, Carrie Underwood, Ellen DeGeneres, Steve Carell and Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.

“We have jam-packed this show with epic performances, surprises and huge show moments that will be sure to keep the audience glued to their seats,” executive producer Mark Burnett said.

Nicole Scherzinger on Phantom of the Opera 2

Apparently, Pussycat Dolls band member Nicole Scherzinger may be joining the cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Phantom of the Opera’ sequel in the West End Next year. If it’s true and the singer has been cast, it’s the weirdest casting choice I’ve ever heard of. ‘Love Never Dies’ is set 10 years after the original ‘Phantom of the Opera’ on Coney Island in 1919. Nicole was said to be talking about the musical at a party in Las Vegas a few weeks back. We all know that the girl can sing. I’m just not all too sure of her acting skills.

Pussycat Dolls Out of Shows

Due to a diagnosed ear infection, Pussycat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger is unable to travel or to perform, forcing the rest of the group to cancel the first three shows of their upcoming tour with the Black Eyed Peas. I’m sure the other girls aren’t thrilled. I guess the people in charge don’t think that any of the other girls are good enough to fill in for Nicole. But what’s this? Pussycat Dolls’ management recently released a statement saying that the group wasn’t even asked to tour with the BEPs, Nicole doesn’t have an ear infection and that she’s in Europe on holiday. Just cut to the chase. I don’t think we’ll be seeing more of the Dolls anytime soon or ever again.

In order to address break up rumors, the Pussycat Dolls founder, Robin Antin, took to her Twitter to set the record straight. She said “The Pussycat Dolls r NOT breaking up…. & IF they ever were, u would hear it from ME 1st, NOT GOSSIP…Album #3 on the way!” How can it be gossip when a member of the group, Ashley Roberts, herself said that the band was splitting up? I don’t have any complaints though. But if they all want to put a stop to the rumors, maybe they could try having the other girls sing instead of just giving everything to Nicole Scherzinger.

Pussycat Doll’s Kimberly Wyatt said it ‘has been hard’ that Nicole Scherzinger is the focus of the band

Pussycat Dolls star Kimberly Wyatt has said it "has been hard" that Nicole Scherzinger is always at the focus of the band.

Kimberly, 27, and Nicole, 31, are members of the successful girl band along with Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton.

Reports recently stated that tension built in the band when their last single Jai Hoh! was billed as Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger.

Kimberly said: "It’s true, there has always been a lot of focus on Nicole which has been hard to deal with sometimes. This group was created with a foundation, they knew exactly what they wanted and they had Nicole at the focus.

"Every video and stage performance that we’ve done, Nicole has been our leader. I wasn’t in videos like I wanted and wasn’t seen in the way I was hoping, which has been the same for all the other girls too."

Kimberly added that she doesn’t see the attention being split evenly between the band any time soon.

She said: "I don’t really make any of the decisions, I’m in the group and can voice my opinions to a degree but at the end of the day it is a business and there are a lot of chefs in the kitchen that run the Pussycat Dolls."

Pussycat Doll Other Than Nicole Talks

Rumors have been running rampant about a Pussycat Dolls split but nothing has come for it. After a not so stellar Australian tour, the end might finally come. It’s no surprise that many of the girls hate lead singer Nicole Scherzinger for constant spotlight-hogging and taking separate projects from the group. But now, original Doll Melody Thornton clears up the air in general about the group saying “It’s good news for our fans. I don’t think we’re breaking up any time soon. As long as this thing is moving, we’re all still here…(The reviews) say a lot about the need for an evolution within the Pussycat Dolls.” When asked about Nicole, Melody said “Nicole’s always had extra things going on as opposed to the rest of us, but we have aspirations as well. It’s definitely a huge misconception that we are just chilling and happy to just be members of the group.” They should just kick Nicole out.

The Pussycat Dolls singer and her boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton, are apparently planning to get engaged this summer. Nicole Scherzinger said the following about the upcoming prelude to marriage: “Would I get married? For sure and, yeah, the Dolls can be the bridesmaids. But I have to get engaged first. Late July is looking good. Marriage is a seal of love. On my solo album I have sung about how much I love that and what the whole process would mean to me. Who needs a reason to seal their love?” This all sounds fine and dandy, but wasn’t an engagement supposed to be something surprising and exciting? How can you plan something like that? Do they even have the day and hour figured out… or are they leaving that as the surprise part?
