R Kelly Tour Postponed

R Kelly won’t be making his way over to Europe as the R&B singer recently announced that his upcoming tour has to be postponed due to some throat problems. I wonder what’s wrong with him and how he got it. He says that he has strict orders from doctors to rest his voice for fear of further damage. R Kelly apologized to his fans in a statement, saying “I owe it to my fans to give them the best shows possible and right now my voice isn’t up to the job.” I’m sure that the ten people who bought tickets will completely understand.

Diddy’s stalker finally contained

It looks like Diddy had another one of those way too eager fans prowling around his house recently. Thankfully, the police got to her before she could get to Diddy and the situation was resolved. It seems Cemelia Green had spent a few days in her car outside of Diddy’s house and was ready to make a big entrance when the police apprehended her. She claimed to be his wife, but apparently they didn’t buy it. Too bad for her though, but it is a good thing that Diddy can once more sleep soundly at night knowing that no one is watching his property. Celebrities tend to lose more and more sleep because of that, don’t they?

Leona Lewis is not a pop star

This is a very strange case of denial. It seems that pop singer Leona Lewis, in her infinite wisdom, does not consider herself to be a pop star. This is what she said on the matter: “I don’t really call myself a pop star. But, yeah, I enjoy doing my music, being able to travel and do my shows. I’d call myself an entertainer.” Well, maybe Leona Lewis should take a shot at being a traveling comedian if she’s that much of an entertainer. After all, that’s what The X Factor gives out certificates for anyway. Simon Cowell must be very, very disappointed in his star pupil right about now.

Cheryl Cole can play rough too

It looks like it’s not only Ashley Cole that has big guns to use in a divorce or don’t divorce battle… Cheryl Cole has some secret weapons of her own. For instance this new delightful little move of hers: erasing her tattoo tribute to her soon to be former husband. It’s a small thing on the back of her neck that says “Mrs C”… and Cheryl Cole is also going to be getting rid of all of the pesky pictures of her and Ashley Cole from their home. Phase one of the oncoming divorce seems to be complete. But Cheryl Cole is no cold snake… apparently the singer is not going to make any claims on her husband’s fortune. That way Ashley Cole can continue entertaining even after his marriage. How thoughtful!

Beyonce Sells Big

The Recording Industry Association of America recently announced a compilation of its awards for the past decade last week and there was one artist who came out about the rest – Beyonce! The R&B singer reached more gold and platinum sales milestones than any of her competitors with 64 RIAA certifications. Those certifications include that of albums, digital songs, master ring tones and music videos. Beyonce also led the pack with 19 ring tone certifications. That is one mighty amazing career. Congratulations to Beyonce for achieving so much! However, it doesn’t really mean that I love her. I like her but I’m not that much into her anymore.

No Gunfire at Beyonce Concert

Contrary to prior reports, no gunfire erupted at Beyonce’s concert in Brazil. The 28-year old R&B singer allegedly ended her show early last week due to gunshots but it has recently been confirmed that those reports were completely false. Beyonce played to record crowds on her recent tour in Brazil, without incident, including an audience of 60,000 in Sao Paulo and two sold out shows in Rio. I wonder what started the whole gunshot rumors. Oh well, I’m glad that the reports are false and that there are no fugitive gun bearers out on the streets of Brazil. It kind of makes you feel safer.

Ne-Yo Talks Rihanna and Chris Brown

Ne-Yo is supporting ‘Respect!’, a non-profit organization aimed at ending domestic abuse and promoting respect in relationships. The R&B singer is donating the proceeds from his new single ‘Heroes’ to the cause and made an example of the most recent public abuse case between Rihanna and Chris Brown. Ne-Yo said “What happened between Chris Brown and Rihanna was unacceptable, and we need to all work together and make sure it never happens again, to anyone.” Preach man because you are damn right about that! If we all just learn to respect each other a little bit more, these things could be prevented from happening.

T-Pain sets his eye on Carrie Underwood

It seems the rapper has big plans for the American Idol contestant. Either out of boredom or other interests, T-Pain has really got it into his head that he absolutely must collaborate with Carrie Underwood. This is what he said on the matter: “Next on my list is Carrie Underwood. I swear to God. Everybody else can suck it until I get to Carrie Underwood.” With that kind of attitude T-Pain is bound to scare Carrie Underwood off. He might want to mellow down… if he keeps it up, he might scare her so much that he may find himself with a puck between his teeth one day. Hockey players are after all pretty temperamental and they wield some pretty dangerous instruments.

It seems that Amy Winehouse’s manager is trying to set her on the path of righteousness and he has found a very interesting way of doing so. Amy Winehouse’s manager has recently bought her a painting that depicts her as a housewife. This is what he said about the present: “She absolutely loves it. It takes pride of place in her home.” It’s probably right up there with her first bottle of Jack and other collectible memorabilia. Those things will be great for an auction if Amy Winehouse is ever in need of generating some funds. Hopefully it won’t scare Blake Fielder-Civil away.

In the end, the singer will be the one most qualified to hand out the actual results of all of this round-about. It seems that after being accused of violence and being absolved of the accusations, Rihanna’s new boyfriend, Matt Kemp, is again under the watchful public eye. Even though his former girlfriend says that the restraining order filled against him wasn’t serious, her lawyer has something else to say on the matter: “The matter was quietly resolved until Mr. Kemp’s agent began making false public statements.” Rihanna sure knows how to pick them, doesn’t she? But there is some progress: at least Matt Kemp managed to keep his mishaps under wraps. Rihanna will eventually get it right.

The singer recently admitted that when she was a little girl at school she always felt insecure about her looks because of the fact that her mother was Irish-American and her father was African-American of Venezuelan descent. This is what Mariah Carey related on the matter: “I am very insecure about my looks, and I always have been because of being mixed race. It’s not so weird now, and everyone’s accepting it in a big way, but as a child I felt very, um, out of place and didn’t feel pretty. When you grow up with that type of insecurity you don’t always feel pretty.” So says the ultimate diva… oh well, at least now all can have a much cleared insight about where Mariah Carey’s “powerful” personality really stems from. But what can be done to make it go away?

And again we return to the same old story… the same old never-ending story, it seems. Rihanna recently stated that she actually saw the signs before she was attacked by her now very infamous ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown. This is what Rihanna related on the matter: “There were control issues, insecurity. When people are insecure they become very controlling and they can get very aggressive and in turn abusive. It doesn’t have to be physical. Like they would say bad stuff to you to make you feel lesser than them just so they would have control in the relationship. It takes a big toll on your emotions and on your everyday life. It changes you.” Do the words “get over it” actually mean anything to Rihanna? Is Justin Timberlake partying with somebody else these days? That might be one of the reasons for this eve-recurring blast from the past.

It looks like Rihanna got bored of being a superstar and getting involved with Justin Timberlake, or he just got bored of her, so she decided to do something noble for someone: she’s trying to find a donor of bone marrow for a Nigerian athlete, Seun Adebiyi. This is what Rihanna said on the matter: “Leukemia interrupted Seun’s dream of being the first Nigerian in the Winter Olympics, but together we can help him make his dream come true. We need to find him a bone marrow donor! Please sign up with DKMS!” Certainly a much more fulfilling activity as opposed to her usual, but will she pull it off? Surely one of Rihanna’s fans with be a match, after all, they should be more than willing to help in this endeavor… and there are lots of them.

Beyonce is Proud

Beyonce recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly and talked about what she’s most proud off. The R&B singer said “I am most proud of having written songs that became anthems for young women. I realize that in these songs I am saying so much of what young women want to say.” That’s great and all but I wonder what she has to say about allegations that she’s been ripping off some of her songs from other songwriters. I also wonder what she has to say if it’s proven that she has been ripping people off. That’s definitely more like something to be ashamed of.

A 31-year old man named David Hurd from Indiana has reportedly been bombarding Ashanti’s mother Tina Douglas with obscene and suggestive text messages about the sex acts that he wanted to perform not only with the R&B singer, but also to her mother and sisters. The creep also sent nude photographs of himself accompanied with filthy messages. It is unknown hot he got Tina’s phone number but the guy has since been arrested and is being charged with 28 misdemeanor counts of stalking and aggravated harassment. He could receive up to two years in prison if he is found guilty.
