Eric Clapton apparently did this while the two were being treated in the same facility, as bassist Nicky Wire related: &#8220;Richey was in The Priory and Eric Clapton was there and he offered to come round and jam, that was one of those moments where you couldn&#8217;t write anything funnier, in a tragic situation.&#8221; Yep, no more funny from the tragic situaiton. But hey, Manic Street Preachers can always go for something a little more… sad, eh? After all, it’s not always sunshine and butteflies… especially when the dope stops coming. </p>
